Saturday will see me boarding a train to Preston in Lancashire in order to present a talk to the Lancashire Family History & Heraldry Society (Annual Conference and A.G.M.) on "Squirrels and Chevrons": A study of the many and varied arms used by the descendants of Lidulph de Twemlow.
I shall be in good company as other speakers are Steve Halliwell who will present a talk on "Moses Holden 1777 - 1864; a Freeman of Preston, Astronomer and self taught genius and Bill Taylor who will speak on "Lost on the Lusitania"
